Carnival Features
New Carnival is a statement in versatility. Whatever the combination you require, New Carnival can deliver. If you're carrying passengers, there is adjustable seating to create extra legroom. There are tray tables with cupholders on the back of the front seats. A further six cupholders are conveniently located throughout the cabin. A fold-up table between the driver and front passenger can be folded away to enable walk-through access to the 2nd row. Both the 2nd and 3rd rows seat three passengers and each row can be simply folded and/or removed if additional space is needed. Wide, side-sliding doors allow easy access to the 2nd and 3rd row from both sides. Tri-zone air conditioning with individual outlets for each row of seats ensures everyone can sit back in comfort. The light and airy cabin of New Carnival offers generous headroom and the extra space needed in a true people mover.
Safety
New Carnival makes no compromises when it comes to safety. From top to bottom and side to side, it is packed with safety features, including an energy-absorbing steering column, dual front airbags, lap/sash seatbelts on all window seats, child-proof safety locks, high visibility heated defrost power mirrors, variable intermittent front wipers, rear wiper and washer and demister. Front side and curtain airbags are available as an option.
Beneath New Carnival's stylish exterior lies a powerful unibody framework with a reinforced sub-frame for added strength. And for even more passenger protection, there are strong steel anti-intrusion beams in each door plus ladder-like steel floor reinforcements. ABS brakes and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) are fitted as standard for added safety and manoeuvrability in an emergency. Kia tops off the New Carnival with side-protection mouldings to guard against car-park bumps.
